Clarence & I went with a group of retired Goldwing motorcycle riders to London, Ky. I think that I mentioned that we ride a Goldwing. It is about 125 miles to London, Ky, but we take the back roads instead of the expressway . We also take the long way through curvy roads and the mountains. We traveled over 200 miles to get there.
The big thing that I wanted to talk about is my helmet. It was a windy day on the way to London Ky. and my helmet was blowing around all over my head. If it wasn’t strapped down I would have lost it. The helmet is suppose to fit snug and not move around. It fit me good last year. We stayed in London for two days and left on the third day. On the way home we stopped at the motorcycle shop and bought me a new helmet. I went from an extra large helmet to a medium. Last year I had chubby cheeks. The cheek pads is one of the things that determine the size of the helmet. We rode for over 600 miles in three days and last year I wouldn’t have been able to do that. I got my life back and I’m going to keep it.
